SMT – Guest House
Delivered a compact, high-performance guest house design by integrating energy-efficient systems and heat-island mitigation strategies to reduce cooling demand and operational energy use.
•Occupancy sensor-integrated LED lights for washrooms
•Water-efficient plumbing fixtures to reduce water consumption
•Open staircase wall for improved daylight and ventilation
•Fresh Air Fan Integrated with Split AC for improved air quality during operations
•50 mm under-deck insulation below terrace to reduce heat gain
•Local Stone (Granite, Tandoor or Kota) or Tile as flooring
•Induction-based cook stove for improved IAQ, safety, and energy efficiency
•BLDC motor-based remote-controlled fan of 30-35 W power consumption
•Ready-made Flush Door made from recycled chipboard or WPC for reducing embodied carbon
•21 kWp bifacial or mono-perc solar PV (optional) to produce 100% of the energy consumed on-site
•High-SRI Roof Paint of 110 value to reduce heat island impact as well as cooling load
High-performance building design advisory, energy-efficient lighting strategy, envelope heat-island mitigation measures, and operational efficiency optimisation.
