BZC has supported Shairu Gems over multiple years in progressively elevating the environmental performance of its diamond manufacturing facility—beginning with IGBC Green Factory certification, advancing to IGBC Net Zero Energy (Design), and subsequently achieving LEED v4.1 O+M—while continuing to provide performance monitoring, recertification support, and ongoing operational review to sustain outcomes beyond certification.
•99% of operational waste is segregated and diverted from landfill
•100% of office paper purchased is recycled and FSC certified
•60% of annual electricity is offset through a 52 kWp on-site solar plant and a 1 MW off-site solar plant
•17% energy efficient as compared to ASHRAE 90.1 - 2007 baseline
